Reconnect with Nature: Bird Watching

Ruby & Brenda Birdwatching

Reconnect is the intention for the year, maybe even longer if we need it. We are disconnected from nature, food, femininity, spirituality, and our health. I have created a series of day experiences to help you reconnect with all the things that matter most in life. One experience that allows me to reconnect is Bird Watching, and it’s my pleasure to share with you.

Bird Watching, eh Really? YES!! Try it before you knock it. I promise it’s not just for older people or biologists. It is a form of meditation that connects us with nature and spirit without sitting still in a crossed-legged position and trying not to think. Meditation is a lifetime practice, but with bird watching, I find that a meditative state comes over you naturally.

Why so early? Because the early bird gets the juiciest worms!

As well as enjoying a crisp sunrise with the birdies, we will also enjoy a delicious vegetarian lunch and a shoulder and neck massage in the gorgeous gardens at The Villa Merida in Centro.

Invite your sisters (biological and chosen) mothers and random women you meet on the street. When the gals get together, magic happens.

This experience is bilingual and accommodates from the beginner to the pro birders. Space is limited due to COVID safety and the quality of the experience. Our guide is a biologist who knows the birds names in English, Spanish, Scientific and even some in Maya!
